Series - T

The T-Series system is a simple and cost-effective fire protection device for small enclosed spaces (e.g. distribution cabinets, server cabinets, 3D printer cabinets, engine compartments of all types of motor vehicles, etc.). The system consists of a heat-sensitive tube, which is made of special plastic and is closed with stainless steel fittings. The tube has both a storage and detection function, which means that the extinguishing agent is stored directly in the tube and no additional storage device such as a cylinder is needed.

The T-Series system uses HFC-227ea, which is an extremely effective, clean and safe extinguishing medium for people. The system works automatically and independently of any power source by detecting higher temperatures. When the temperature in the protected space rises to a critical level, the detection tube melts at the point where the temperature effect is highest. The tube melts and creates an opening that releases all the extinguishing agent stored in the tube directly onto the source of the fire.

The T-Series systems are available in various lengths from 25 cm up to 6 metres. The standard volume of the agent ranges from 0.25 kg to 2 kg, which is directly related to the length of the system and is sufficient to protect cabinets with a volume between 0.1 m3 and 2 m3. This opens up a wide range of applications for which the system can be used. Compact electrical cabinets to engine rooms and large data cabinets. With the addition of a pressure switch, a loss of pressure can be detected and a signal can be sent to an external device such as an alarm panel, warning buzzers, sirens, beacons or to initiate a shutdown via an external control panel.
